Installation of New Shelters at Stops in Rudno and Other Districts of Lviv
In Rudno, a modern glass shelter was installed at the public transport stop. All works were funded by a sponsor.
Previously, there was only a road sign indicating the stop at this location. Thus, in rain and snow, passengers had to wait for the bus outdoors. This street is served by city bus No. 52, which is frequently used by schoolchildren in this neighborhood.
At the Lviv Community Office in Rudno, it is reported that residents have repeatedly requested the installation of a shelter at this stop. Recently, the renovation of the stop was completed. Workers from the Railway District Administration installed the shelter and arranged the pavement. The works were funded by a sponsor.
Other Stop Renovations in Lviv
Notably, last year in Rudno on the same Verbytskoho Street, the city arranged another shelter. At the stop on Shevchenko Street, an inclusive platform was made. The old asphalt pavement was removed and replaced with sidewalk and tactile tiles. Buses No. 52 and No. 84 stop here.
Shelters and coverings near them were also updated in Bryukhovychi. At the end of last year, repairs were completed at the terminal stop on Ivasyuka Street in this community. Part of the road and sidewalk was repaired, and the waiting shelter was updated. All works were carried out considering accessibility elements. Also, the Shevchenkivska District Administration made renovations with accessibility elements at the stop on Ukraine’s Independence Street.
Last year, a shelter was installed in Riasne-Ruske, and later, on their own initiative, residents illuminated the area near this stop. Two more shelters were installed in Vynnyky.
