
A gas explosion occurred in a multi-apartment building at 21 Sirka Street, which destroyed and damaged several apartments.
As a result of the incident, Apartment No. 32 on the fourth floor was destroyed and Apartments No. 31 and 45 were significantly damaged. Inter-apartment partitions and partially the flooring were also affected. According to experts who inspected the building after the incident, **it is necessary to restore three apartments**, the stairwell, and reinforce the flooring.
“Considering the weather conditions, we promptly closed all the broken windows in the apartments and stairwells and sealed the openings of the damaged doors,” stated representatives of the city administration. Currently, an estimate of the work is being prepared for submission to the Emergency Situations and Civil Protection Commission regarding the allocation of funds from the Lviv community’s reserve budget.
