
Analysis of the Hydrological Situation in Lviv Region: Precipitation and Changes in Water Levels
Overview of the hydrological situation on the rivers of Lviv Region as of 08:00 on March 25, 2025:
According to the hydrological network, 0.4 – 9 mm, up to 14 mm in some places (HP Dniester River – Strilky Village) of precipitation fell across the territory of Lviv Region in the past 24 hours.
In the past day, due to precipitation, water levels in the rivers of the Dniester basin rose by 1 – 15 cm per day.
Fluctuations in Water Levels on the Syan and Western Bug Rivers
On the flat rivers of the Syan and Western Bug basins, slight fluctuations in water levels up to 2 cm per day with a predominance of decrease were noted.
The water temperature in the region’s rivers was 1.2–8.2°.
