Ban on Night-Time Alcohol Sales in Lviv Region from May 2, 2025
From May 2, 2025, a ban on the sale of alcohol during night-time hours is in effect in the Lviv region.
Ban Details
According to the order signed by the Head of the Lviv Regional State Administration, Maksym Kozytskyi, the sale of alcoholic beverages and substances made on an alcohol basis is prohibited from 00:00 to 05:00, i.e., during the curfew hours (except for medicinal products allowed for use and included in the State Register of Medicinal Products, as well as disinfectants).
This restriction applies to all retail outlets, including stores, restaurants, bars, and other establishments with the appropriate license. The ban affects both retail and wholesale alcohol trade.
Purpose of the Decision
This decision has been made to enhance citizen safety, reduce the number of nighttime offenses, and maintain public order under martial law conditions. We ask residents and entrepreneurs to understand and adhere to the established rules.
