Defender Mykola Ninadovskyi from Boryslav was awarded the state award – Order “For Courage” III degree

The award was given to the Defender during his lifetime, but the fighter did not have time to receive it during his lifetime.

Mykola Ninadovsky from Boryslav with the call sign “Banderchyk” was awarded the state award – the Order “For Courage” of the 3rd degree during his lifetime. In March 2023, the President of Ukraine signed a decree awarding senior soldier Mykola Yevhenovich Ninadovsky this state award for personal
courage and self-sacrifice shown in the defense of state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, loyalty to the military oath.

However, the Defender did not have time to receive his award. On June 20, 2023, Mykola Ninadovskyi, a real fighter from the Zahysniki family, died near the settlement of Serebryanka, Bakhmut district, Donetsk region.

“It is very painful to look into the eyes and find the right words for the relatives of those who died. Therefore, it is better to take action that will help them.

There is a petition on the President’s website regarding awarding Mykola Ninadovsky the title “Hero of Ukraine”. So far, 23,000 of the 25,000 required votes have already been collected. We still have 16 days to get the required 2,000 votes.

In memory of our Defender and his sacrificial service to Ukraine, let’s sign this petition, distribute it among relatives and friends, because it is the least we can do for them. All Ukrainian Defenders are worthy of the highest awards and words of thanks,” said Stepan Kulinyak, head of the Drogobytsk RVA.
