Traffic at Border Crossings in Lviv Region Increasing

With the start of the summer season, passenger traffic through border crossings in the Lviv region has increased by 25% and continues to grow.

During peak periods, an increase of up to 40% is expected. On weekends, compared to weekdays, passenger traffic increases by up to 16%.

As of now, there is congestion at the following checkpoints: «Krakivets» – 55 vehicles, «Uhryniv» – 30 vehicles, «Hrusiv» – 25 vehicles.

We recommend choosing alternative less congested routes and planning your trip in advance whenever possible.

Please note, on both the Ukrainian and Polish sides, repair works are ongoing at «Shehyni-Medyka». This affects overall throughput.

Up-to-date information about load levels and the situation at the border can always be found on the official pages: Western Regional Directorate of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine-Western Border and 7th Carpathian Border Guard Unit.
