The farewell to the honorary citizen of Lviv, Ihor Kalynets, will begin on June 30 at St. George’s Cathedral.
19:00 – Parastas and farewell at the Saint George’s Cathedral (St. George Square, 5).
Tuesday, July 1st:
- 12:00 – The funeral rite and farewell will begin at St. George’s Cathedral (St. George Square, 5).
- 13:30 – City-wide farewell ceremony near the Town Hall (Market Square).
- 14:00 – Memorial vigil and burial at the Field of Honor at Lychakiv Cemetery No. 67.
The family and close friends ask not to bring wreaths and flowers to the funeral; instead, to donate money for the Armed Forces of Ukraine to the Lviv Knight fund.
