Actor of the Lviv Academic Regional Music and Drama Theatre named after Yurii Drohobych Yurii Fedchuk has been solemnly presented with the badge of honour “Merited Artist of Ukraine”. The distinction was handed to the Drohobych native by the Head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration, Maksym Kozytskyi.
The honorary title “Merited Artist of Ukraine” was conferred on Yurii Fedchuk by a Decree of the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, in March this year to mark World Theatre Day. The artist received the award for many years of fruitful work, outstanding professionalism and a significant personal contribution to the development of theatrical art.
Yurii Fedchuk has worked at the theatre named after Yurii Drohobych since 2004. During this time, he has created dozens of striking stage characters, winning the affection of audiences and recognition from the professional community. The actor is a laureate of numerous arts awards and festivals.
