The Lviv Museum of Folk Architecture and Life named after Klymentii Sheptytskyi invites you to an interesting conversation and presentation of the updated collection “Hayivky: Easter songs and fun”.
The presentation will take place on April 6 at 18:00 at the Lviv Tourist Information Center (Ruska St., 20). Entry to the event is free.
At the event they will tell:
– How to encourage friends to learn about traditions?
– Do the groves have a chance to survive the 21st century?
– How to popularize folk customs without falling into kitsch?
– Is it true that tradition lives only in villages?
There will be special guests at the presentation – ethnologist, researcher Yurko Pukivskyi and psychotherapist and organizer of folk walks Oksana Stadnytska.
In addition, here you will be able to meet and sing along with the team of creators of the collection: ethnomusicologist Anna Chernous, designer Bohdana Davydyuk and employees of the Lviv Skansen, who voiced the song: Lesya Garasym, Oksana Omelchuk, Natalya Popovych, Yaryna Badik.
