The day before, on February 12, in the town of Ivano-Frankivsk, a farewell caroling party was organized under the slogan: “Let’s carol for the sake of Victory.” The goal is to raise funds for the support of the Armed Forces.
The celebration began with a march from Rynok Square to a designated location with a stage and decorations. There was a loud carol singing glorifying the birth of Jesus Christ from groups from Starosty districts of the community.
The highlight of the holiday was the performance of honored artist Natalka Karpa, who encouraged our Ukrainian spirit with a patriotic song, and the performance of opera singer Oleg Lykhach, who urged the audience to further develop the national spirit and tradition of their native land.
Thanks to donations from community residents and guests, it was possible to collect UAH 106,000 for our soldiers. The funds will be transferred for the purchase of armored personnel carriers and “starlinks” for the Terrodefense of Yavoriv region!
Also during the event, fathers Nazarii Dadak, Oleksiy Koshla, Ivan Nyzhnyk, Mykola Revutskyi, Vasyl Revutskyi consecrated a car, as a gift to Ukrainian defenders, from the family of volunteers Yulia and Viktor Dyachenko.
