Artists Created a 12-Meter Canvas with Views of Drohobych

In the art space ‘Another Corner,’ artists completed the painting of a 12-meter canvas that depicts the architecture and streets of Drohobych.

The idea for the canvas was conceived by Khrystyna Solomchak, the head of the art gallery. She noted that this will be a gift to the city of Kotermak in honor of its 934th anniversary. “The several-meter canvas will become a kind of gift to the city,” emphasized Solomchak.

All those interested, as well as community artists, participated in the work. The city mayor Taras Kuchma and his deputy Yuriy Kushlyk also took part in the creative process on the City’s Day.

The painted canvas will be handed over to the Veteran Development Center of Drohobych, where it will adorn the premises for veterans during rehabilitation.
