On Sunday, December 17, the Palace of Arts will open the exhibition “Kolovorot”, a classic of modern Ukrainian painting by Petro Sypniak.
For the first time, the work of this artist will be presented in the “Drohobychchyna” museum. The creative output of the artist is several thousand works. He has more than 50 personal exhibitions to his credit. In his works, the artist constantly cultivates the theme of his native land. Creativity consists of thematic cycles and series. Since the beginning of the war, the artist has been painting for charity auctions in support of the Armed Forces.

The Palace of Arts will present more than thirty works by Pyotr Sypniak of various painting genres and series. Museum guests will see one of the main themes of the artist’s work – the “Moon Cycle”.
Images of the nativity scene and winter landscapes will create a special festive mood and Christmas spirit. After all, the Ukrainian nativity scene against the background of churches with colorful carolers is the picturesque business card of Petro Sypniak.
