LKP “Heritage Bureau” received 105 applications from residents for renovation of historic gates and windows. In particular, 55 appeals relate to the restoration of gates, 41 to windows, and 9 to the replacement of metal-plastic windows with wooden ones.
“We collect new applications every autumn at the beginning of September, because during the year we receive a large number of requests from those willing to join the Co-financing Program. Thank you to everyone who decided to keep the historic gates and windows in their homes. Such a large number of applications testifies to the high level of responsibility of residents and trust in the project and our team. Within a month, we will consider the applications and inform the residents about the results,” said Pavlo Bogajchyk, director of the “Heritage Bureau” LKP.
The complete list of addresses of buildings whose residents will participate in the co-financing program will be published on the website of the LKP “Heritage Bureau”. The utility company notes that experts will be able to begin the restoration of these gates and windows approximately in 2 years. Applications submitted in previous years are currently being processed.
We will remind, according to the co-financing programs, in Lviv, when restoring gates, 70% of the cost of the work is paid from the city budget, and 30% – residents. When restoring windows, 60% will be paid by the city, and 40% by residents. And when replacing plastic windows with wooden parts, co-financing is equal to 50% for 50%.
