The Lviv region bid farewell to the People’s Artist of Ukraine, Stepan Higa.
Today, they laid to rest a person whose art became part of Ukrainian music history, the memory of several generations, and the cultural identity of our state. His songs were known, sung, and felt by millions of Ukrainians – in joy and challenging times.
“Lviv region bid farewell to the People’s Artist of Ukraine, Stepan Higa. Our state has lost an entire musical era. May his memory be bright”, noted the head of the Lviv Regional Administration, Maksym Kozytskyi.
