From October 23 to 30, the Lviv region will host the Jewish Cultural Heritage Week. This is a unique cultural and educational project aimed at preserving and reviving the history of the Jewish community.
During the week, 11 events are planned in 9 cities of the region, including Lviv, Rozdil, Drohobych, Sokal, Belz, Zolochiv, Sambir, Dobromyl, and Stryi. These events will bring together researchers, guides, artists, and local communities.
The organizers and partners of the initiative include the Department of Sports, Youth and Tourism of the Lviv Regional State Administration, the Lviv Regional Development Agency, the Honorary Consulate of the State of Israel in Ukraine, LLC \”Rozdil Palace\”, the \”Heritage.UA\” Charity Fund, and the All-Ukrainian Jewish Charitable Foundation \”Hesed-Arie\”.
