Why it matters: This evening the Lviv Town Hall will capture attention with a unique light installation designed by renowned designers Mykola Kabluka and Roger Narboni. It’s part of an ambitious industrial plan reflecting urban lighting prospects.
The installation will present abstract colours projected onto the facade of the town hall using an optical lens system. The authors have brought the equipment themselves and will illuminate the structure from 21:00 to 23:00. The event is prepared as part of a workshop dedicated to developing a lighting concept for Lviv.
Tomorrow, 22nd May, Roger Narboni will conduct a lecture at the Lviv open-air museum, discussing the future of the city’s lighting design up to the year 2055. The lecture will take place at 16:30 and will be attended by many architects and specialists. We remind everyone of the importance of Lviv’s lighting master plan, being developed by leading global experts.
