The Lviv Museum of the History of Religion is set to host the opening of the exhibition ‘Image. Symbol. Spirituality’.
On Friday, May 30, the museum will present diploma and coursework projects with a sacred theme. These works were created by graduates of the Lviv Professional College of Decorative and Applied Arts named after Ivan Trush under the guidance of instructors.
The museum’s halls will feature ceramics, sculpture, graphics, metal, wood, jewelry, painting, and textiles. Visitors will see works of restoration of stone products, icons, stained glass, banners, shrouds, and Gospels. The exhibits will be provided by the priests of the churches of Lviv and the region.
‘The newly created exhibition in the Lviv Museum of the History of Religion should be a worthy beginning of a series of events prepared by the Lviv Professional College of Decorative and Applied Arts named after Ivan Trush for its 150th anniversary. So, we invite everyone to come and see this wonderful exhibition, to be inspired and spiritually enriched’, – noted the museum.
The start is at 3:00 PM.
