April is the time when you understand: life will win. This April, during the war, the Lviv House of Organ and Chamber Music prepared many concerts for visitors, as it believes that art is eternal and music is a strong medicine.
Program of upcoming events:
- April 7 – The Art of War. New Opera. Nova Opera project in collaboration with composer Serhiy Vilka and Sed Contra Ensemble.
- April 8 – Ukrainian Live: Ukrainian music for cello. Legendary performers Zoltan Almashi and Viktor Rekalo are on the stage of the Lviv Organ Hall.
- April 13 and 22 – Libera me. Two concerts of exclusively organ music by Ukrainian composers. The Lviv Organ Hall together with soloist Svitlana Pozdnysheva invites you to discover the world of Ukrainian organ music.
- April 17 – Szczecin. Lacrimosa. The world premiere is a work by Oleksandr Shchetynsky, written in the first days of the war, in Kyiv, during the bombing of the city by racist troops.
- April 28 – Ukrainian chamber music by Svitlana Pozdnysheva and Adrian Bodnar.
- April 29 – Ukrainian live. Music of young Lviv composers.
