The Lviv orchestra INSO-Lviv received musical instruments from the family of Austrian jazz musician Herbert Müller.
The family of the renowned musician donated a trombone and a baritone to the INSO-Lviv academic symphony orchestra, which operates at the Myroslav Skoryk Lviv National Philharmonic. These instruments will be used in the educational project ‘Academy of Music’, which has been functioning since 2016. Children and young musicians will learn to play them.
“It is a great honor for us to accept Herbert Müller’s musical legacy. We see this gesture as trust and responsibility for continuing the musical tradition. It is also evidence of the deep ties between Ukraine and the European cultural space”, — noted in INSO-Lviv.
