Lviv Franz Kafka Theatre presents a video version of Angdeonia

Lviv, Ukraine – The Franz Kafka Lviv Theatre is pleased to present a video version of its production of Angdeonia, which is now available to watch online.

This unique performance, which combines elements of video art, butoh and a live music concert, is an emotional diary of the war experienced by a civilian.

“Angdeonia is not just a performance, it is a frank conversation about war, its impact on people and the search for meaning in the midst of destruction. The performance invites the audience to experience deep emotion and catharsis, offering a space for expressing their own emotions and reflections.

The performance features actors and musicians: Nazariy Bodenko, Herman Hoshkador, Olena Sinotova (cello) and Natalia Hutsul (piano). The performance is directed by Herman Hoshkador.

This art project was made possible with the support of the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation in 2024.
