The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine invites authors of children’s fairy tales to participate in the project ‘Voices of Childhood.’
The ‘Voices of Childhood’ project is a collection of children’s fairy tales narrated by servicemen and veterans of the Ministry of Internal Affairs system. ‘We are looking for fairy tale authors – employees and servicemen of the Ministry of Internal Affairs system and other security and defense departments, as well as any interested Ukrainian writers whose works bring warmth, faith, and a sense of security to children’, say the organizers.
Submissions are accepted until October 29, 2025. The Ministry of Internal Affairs team will select 10 best fairy tales to include in the audiobook. To participate, it is required to fill out a Google form, provide personal details and department, and include a fairy tale text up to 5,000 characters.
The project presentation will be held on November 20, on World Children’s Day and Children’s Rights Day. The audiobook with custom illustrations will be published on the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine’s website and YouTube channel.
