The festival was attended by bands and performers from Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Rivne, Volyn, and the border region of Sumy.
This Sunday, May 12, one of the largest all-Ukrainian art festivals and competitions, Easter Lviv, was held under the organizational auspices of the Department of Culture, Nationalities, and Religions of the Lviv Regional State Administration.
The festival was attended by groups and performers from Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Rivne, Sumy, and Volyn regions. More than 60 children came from the border region of Sumy alone.
“When you see how happy children and young people are when they receive awards, how much motivation to work and undeniable inspiration for creativity participation in such competitions is for children, their mentors, and parents, you realize that we all have to do even more to make sure that such all-Ukrainian festival projects are implemented as often and as well as possible.
I assure you that the Lviv Regional Administration, the Department for Culture, Nationalities and Religions, and our regional institution, the Lviv Palace of Arts, will continue to provide maximum assistance in organizing and holding such festivals. I would like to express my gratitude to the team of organizers, as I know how much work it is. And to all the children and young participants, teachers, and parents, I wish you to continue to do everything to preserve and popularize Ukrainian national art – song, dance, music, and drama. Because it is a treasure of the Spirit and Power of Ukraine,” said Ivan Sobko, deputy head of the Lviv Regional Union of Artists.
