Drohobychchyna Museum invites to an exhibition of unique Easter eggs

For a month, from April 25 to May 25, a unique collection of 170 Easter eggs will be on display.

The exhibition features amateur Boyko and Hutsul Easter eggs from the villages of Dovhe Hirske in Drohobych and Kosmach in Ivano-Frankivsk, as well as works by renowned artists Halyna Pyatnychuk-Syrotyuk and Oksana Nakonechna (Lviv), Bohdan Kovalchyn (Drohobych), and Roman Kovalyk from Toronto (Canada).

When: April 25-May 25, 10:00-17:00

Where: – the history department of the Drohobychchyna Museum

Visiting the exhibition, you will learn how the Boyko family prepared for the Resurrection of the Lord. You will also see the main attributes of the majestic holiday – original embroidered towels and shirts of the late nineteenth and mid-twentieth centuries and special ancient utensils for making Easter cake.
