As part of the 33rd Lviv International BookForum in Lviv, the news agency Ukrinform presented its book project – the publication “Commanders of Victory” about Ukrainian military leaders and their units.
The book brings together more than 20 stories about commanders of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the combat units they lead. The material is based on a series of interviews with military and state leadership, heads of branches of the armed forces and unit commanders who are currently holding the line and leading their soldiers.
The book “Commanders of Victory” is not just a collection of interviews, it is the living history of our struggle, captured in the actions of people who take on the highest responsibility – responsibility for the lives of the soldiers and the outcome of combat missions. Today it is very important to preserve and spread these stories, because it is precisely on the examples of such commanders that the resilience of our state is forged, and future generations will know the price of our freedom,
said Deputy Head of the Lviv Regional State Administration Oleksandr Kulepin during the presentation.
The 33rd BookForum in Lviv is being held under the central theme “The Responsibility of Literature”. The organisers emphasise that admission to all festival events is free.
