The Lviv Regional Military Administration has announced the launch of a regional competition for works to receive awards for historical research into the events of the Ukrainian people’s national liberation struggle in the 20th century.
The competition is organised by the Department of Communications and Internal Policy of the Lviv Regional State Administration together with the Standing Commission for Culture, Information Policy and Promotion of the Lviv Regional Council. The initiative aims to support historical research and encourage scholars to study in greater depth the key events and processes of the Ukrainian liberation movement in the last century.
The competition is scheduled to begin on 5 October 2026. Applications for participation may be submitted within 15 calendar days from the date of the official announcement of the competition.
Completed competition works must be submitted in person to the Department of Communications and Internal Policy of the Lviv Regional State Administration at: Lviv, Andriya Parubiya Square, 1. For clarification of details, the designated contact person is Vira Hot.
