Winners were selected in five categories.
In accordance with the Comprehensive Cultural Development Program of the Lviv Oblast for 2021-2025, a meeting of the expert council was held in 2023 with the aim of creating a modern cabinet of music-theoretical disciplines in art schools of the region.
The creation of a modern cabinet of music-theoretical disciplines, which will have modern equipment and musical instruments, will make it possible to raise the level of teaching the subjects of music theory and solfeggio, will raise it to a new methodological level, will create the necessary conditions for the work of teachers and comprehensive creative development of the young generation and gifted children Lviv region.
“Art schools of the Lviv region need a lot of support, so such projects are an invaluable chance to improve material and technical possibilities for providing high-quality music education in educational institutions. This project promotes the development of musical literacy among students and provides an opportunity to identify and develop talents. With the help of modern equipment and access to various sources of information, students can have more opportunities to explore and express themselves in music. I wish the project success and fruitful results in the development of music education!” – emphasized the director of the Department for Culture, Nationalities and Religions of LOVA Iryna Gavryliuk.
Criteria for selecting art schools:
- the index of financial capacity of the community with a coefficient not higher than 0.8;
- a high degree of readiness of the object for the implementation of the Project;
- the number of students in the art school;
- participation in competitions in music-theoretical disciplines;
- attraction of extrabudgetary funds.
18 projects were submitted for consideration by the expert council, 8 were unanimously selected. The winners were:
- Rudkiv Children’s Music School;
- Dobromil Children’s Music School;
- Sudovyshnyansk Music School;
- Turkiv Children’s Music School;
- Bibr Music School named after Yuriy Singalevich;
- Starosambir Music School;
- Zhovtanetsk art school;
- Boryslav Children’s School of Arts
