A 3D tour of the “Museum of Hetman of Ukraine Ivan Vyhovskyi” was created in Stryi region

After the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Russia in Ukraine, the protection of cultural heritage is one of the priority areas of work for 2023.

One of the objects of cultural heritage of the Stryi District is the Museum of the Hetman of Ukraine Ivan Vyhovskyi, a branch of the Lviv National Art Gallery named after B.G. Woznytskyi The museum operates in the village of Ruda of the Gnizdychiv community. This is the former ancestral town of the Hetman of the Zaporizhzhya Army.

The creation of this cultural and educational institution is connected with the stay of Hetman Ivan Vyhovskyi in Zhydachiv Oblast in 1660–1664.

In order to better understand the history of the museum, the region, the history of Ukraine, the Cultural Heritage Sector of the Stryi RDA together with the Kyiv company “Raduga” within the framework of the project on preservation and archiving of Ukrainian cultural heritage filmed and launched the first new 3D tour of the museum.

It should be noted that the project was implemented with European grant funds.
