An event was held on Vicheva Square where people wrote letters of support, remembrance and love for the families of fallen defenders. Participants expressed their gratitude and respect to those who have lost their dearest ones in the war.
In the letters, they addressed mothers, wives and other family members of the Heroes, to reassure them of their support and understanding of the grief they have endured. Some of the messages were also addressed to those who will never return home, as a symbol of a spiritual bond with the fallen.
All the letters, filled with pain and at the same time inner strength, will be compiled into a single album and handed over to the museum in the “House of the Warrior”. The organisers want these testimonies of remembrance to serve as a reminder of the high price Ukrainians pay for the chance to live each new day.
