Very soon, the “INSO-Lviv” symphony orchestra of the Lviv National Philharmonic named after M. Skoryk, under the direction of Raymond Jansen, will go on a tour of the Netherlands to present the magic of music from “Harry Potter” to the European public. But before that, the orchestra is preparing to give a gift to the Potter lovers of their native Lviv, so that the miracle will touch their hearts as well.

The magical world of Harry Potter is a real phenomenon in the fantasy genre, because the scale of popularity of Joan Rowling’s stories still remains beyond any competition. The adventure saga about the boy wizard found millions of fans among readers and moviegoers all over the planet. But we love the famous series of films not only for its fantastic plot and the latest Hollywood special effects, but also for its ingenious recognizable melodies. The music for the film about Harry Potter was written by well-known film composers: John Williams, Patrick Doyle, Nicholas Hooper and Alexandre Desplat. The soundtracks created by them represent a high artistic value and are deservedly included in the repertoire of many classical musicians and musical groups.
