Sofiika Kotyk and Sofiika Fedyura are talented students of the Sheptytsky Art School, who performed a piece on the new concert piano for the first time.
This incredible gift was given to the school thanks to a project implemented by the Carl Bechstein Foundation in collaboration with the German company C. Bechstein Pianoforte AG, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of premium acoustic pianos.
This company donated 100 W. Hoffmann musical instruments to art schools in Ukraine. Now, one of them plays within the walls of the Sheptytsky Art School.
“We are sincerely grateful to the foundation director Irina Noniashvili for doing good deeds for Ukrainian children in difficult times,” wrote the art school director Natalia Zinkiv.
The initiative is supported by the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine.
