Shevchenkivskyi Grove in Lviv organizes museum meetings for children, where they will be introduced to Ukrainian customs and culture

The Museum of Folk Architecture and Life named after Klymentii Sheptytskyi invites you to the “Rolling Bag” museum meetings for children. The meetings will take place every Thursday and will be devoted to the study of the rich Ukrainian folk culture.

“The museum has great news – from October 6 we are continuing our meetings for children. From now on, our bag will roll from week to week, being filled with Ukrainian customs and traditions throughout the year. At the meetings, we will introduce children to folk knowledge, customs, traditions and rituals. We will investigate the daily life of our ancestors and try to recreate certain ritual actions that took place during the calendar year,” the organizers of the meetings note.

Children are waiting for: master classes in straw weaving, pottery, carving, weaving, pysankari and many others. Children will also play various folk games, learn folk songs, proverbs and sayings.

For whom: children 6-9 years old

When: every Thursday throughout the year

Time: 15:00 – 17:00

Cost: UAH 150 per meeting (for IDP children – UAH 100 per meeting)

Monthly subscription: UAH 500 for 4 meetings (for IDP children – the price is agreed with the administration)
