The municipal institution of the Lviv Regional Council “Lviv Academic Regional Music and Drama Theatre named after Yurii Drohobych” represented Ukraine at the 31st International Monodrama Festival “Bacău fest monodrame”, which took place in the city of Bacău in Romania.
On the stage of the Bacău Municipal Theatre, Merited Artist of Ukraine Yurii Fedchuk presented a stage reading of the work “A Journalism Lesson Without Hypocrisy” by Polish playwright Matei Vişniec. The production for the festival was directed by Radu Gilaş.
The “Bacău fest monodrame” festival is an international platform for theatre art and cultural exchange. Over eight days it becomes one of the key events in the cultural life of Bacău, bringing together artists of the Romanian stage and theatre practitioners from other European countries and attracting a wide audience.
The participation of the Yurii Drohobych Theatre in this forum affirmed the presence of Ukrainian theatre art at a prestigious European monodrama venue.
