This weekend, students of the Stage Speech group (headed by Halyna Buchkovych) of the Truskavets House of Student Creativity took part in the Mother’s Day Arts Festival “Ukraine is my Mother” held at the Karpaty Entertainment Complex with the support of the Truskavets City Council.
The students performed triumphantly at the festival and received many diplomas, medals, cups and valuable prizes.
Iryna Letnyanka received the Grand Prix and a €50 certificate for a vacation in the best Ukrainian camp “Razom”. Anatoliy Ponomarenko and Artem Sokolovsky took first place. Festival jury member Nina Ilyina, a professor at the Department of Performing Arts at Kyiv International University, awarded Iryna Letnyanka, Anatoliy Ponomarenko and Artem Sokolovsky with diplomas that provide a 50% discount on tuition at Kyiv International University. Maria Elikovska, Svyatoslav Arkatov, Veronika Morozova and Zlata Shapovalova took the second place, and Anastasia Voytyuk took the third place. Each participant of the festival received a personalized diploma, a medal and a cup. Galina Buchkovich, the head of the club, was awarded a certificate of appreciation for educating creative youth.
As well as the students of the choreographic department of the Truskavets Savytsky School of Arts for their successful performance – the skill and creativity of our dancers and their mentors Nina Moiseenko, Oleksandr Moiseenko and Natalia Strelnyk were highly appreciated by the authoritative jury of the festival and awarded with Diplomas of the 2nd and 3rd degrees.
