The memorial square on Nezalezhnosti Ukrainy Street in Bryukhovychi has been upgraded with new landscaping elements, making the space more convenient and accessible for visitors.
In the green area, where a children’s playground is located among the pines and larches, two new benches and a rubbish bin have been installed. This has made it possible to increase the number of seating areas so that residents and visitors can spend more time in the fresh air and comfortably enjoy time with their children.
The park furniture was installed by the organisation responsible for the upkeep of the area, LKP “Zelenyi Lviv”, while its purchase was funded by the ecology department.
The memorial square is a relatively new public space: it was officially created about two years ago in honour of volunteer formation soldiers.
