In Drohobych, an old Austrian villa that was on the brink of ruin has been preserved and transformed into the Ivan Franko Cultural and Educational Centre. This project, despite the initial scepticism of the community, has become a true success story.
In March, another anniversary of the centre was celebrated, which is located in the premises of the former evening school. The city has preserved an architectural monument, which is now a hub for artistic, cultural, and educational organisations, as well as community initiatives.
For three years now, the Youth Centre ‘Under the KOC’ has been operating on the premises, bringing together active youth, musical and artistic organisations. The implementation of this project demonstrates the correctness of the decisions made and the achievement of tangible results.
