In the settlement of Kulykiv, on the eve of Heroes’ Day, a joint prayer was held in the central square for the soldiers who gave their lives for the freedom and independence of Ukraine. Residents who came to honour the memory of the fallen defenders took part in the prayer.
The participants united in a heartfelt prayer, filled with gratitude and pain for the dead, recalling their feat and asking for peace for Ukraine. The words of the prayer were dedicated to the memory of the Heroes and the hope for an end to the war.
After the prayer, the People’s House of Kulykiv hosted the presentation of the poetry collection “The Blossom of Stork’s Herb”. Those attending the meeting spoke about how this book is a way of preserving the community’s memory and emotions, reflected in poetic form.
The organisers stressed the importance of preserving unity, historical memory and spiritual resilience, because, as they said, the Heroes remain with us as long as they are remembered and prayed for.
