Charity concert “Carmina Burana” to be held at the Lviv Philharmonic

On 26 June, a charity concert will take place at the Myroslav Skoryk Lviv National Philharmonic, featuring a performance of Carl Orff’s scenic cantata “Carmina Burana”.

The work will be performed in its original score, accompanied by symphony orchestra and choir. The cantata has not been heard in this format in Lviv for many years. At the heart of the work’s concept lies the symbol of the Wheel of Fortune, which reflects the cyclical nature of human life and the changeability of fate.

During the event, there will be an auction in support of the special unit “Kraken”.

The stage will feature soprano Anna Shumarina, the municipal institution of the Lviv Regional Council “Halytsky Academic Chamber Choir”, and the Academic Symphony Orchestra of the Lviv National Philharmonic under the baton of conductor Ihor Muraviov.

The concert begins at 18:00. The venue is the Lyudkevych Concert Hall of the Lviv National Philharmonic, 7 Myroslav Skoryk Street.
