A screening of the documentary film “The Power of Love” has been organised in Lviv, dedicated to the memory of the Bazylevych family and all those killed during one of the most tragic Russian attacks on the city.
The event will take place on 4 September at 17:00 in Hall 3 of the “Planeta Kino” cinema in the Forum Lviv shopping centre. Admission to the screening is free, but requires prior registration.
The film tells the story of Lviv resident Yaroslav Bazylevych, who lost his wife and three daughters as a result of a Russian missile strike. Among the dead were the sisters Daryna, Yaryna and Emilia Bazylevych, as well as their mother Yevheniia Bazylevych. In total, eight residents of Lviv were killed in the attack.
The screening is timed to the second anniversary of the tragedy that took place on Konovalets Street in Lviv, and is intended to preserve the memory of those who died and to serve as a reminder of the consequences of Russian shelling of peaceful cities.
