On 14 September, the Maria Zankovetska National Academic Ukrainian Drama Theatre in Lviv will host a free performance of the play “MOTHERS” for the mothers of Ukraine’s fallen and deceased male and female Defenders.
The performance begins at 15:00. The theatre is located at: 1 Lesi Ukrainky Street. The production of “MOTHERS” will be brought by the Rivne Regional Academic Music and Drama Theatre. The play is based on short stories by the writer Maria Matios.
The “MOTHERS” project is presented as a cultural and social mission which, through theatre, unites the country around the themes of maternal love, resilience and preserving the memory of the fallen.
An important part of the tour is the personal involvement of Maria Matios: the author accompanies the project and speaks with the audience after the performances.
