On 14 September 2026 at 15:00, a free performance of “MOTHERS” for the mothers of fallen and deceased Defenders of Ukraine will take place at the Maria Zankovetska National Academic Ukrainian Drama Theatre in Lviv (1 Lesi Ukrainky Street).
The production will be presented by the Rivne Regional Academic Music and Drama Theatre. The play is based on short stories by Ukrainian writer Maria Matios.
The “MOTHERS” project is positioned as a large-scale cultural and social initiative which, through the art of theatre, unites the country around the themes of maternal love, resilience and preserving the memory of the Defenders of Ukraine.
