“Setting Guinness World Records, talented paintings by children and masters”: a large-scale, international marathon of travelling exhibitions “The Formula for Peace in Children’s Art” starts in Lviv.
On 1 June, at 15:00, on the International Children’s Day, the Lviv Palace of Arts will host the opening of a charity exhibition of more than 2000 works of children’s and professional art in support of the Armed Forces and children of war in Ukraine.
After Ukraine, artistic events are planned to be held in Israel, Germany, Poland, Switzerland and other countries.
As part of the exhibition, well-known teachers and artists will also hold workshops in the halls of the Lviv Palace of Arts.
“Undoubtedly, such unique historical creations by children from all regions of Ukraine convey the most important thing that can be for a human being – the desire for life! Children of war paint life. And today we can only get a full life thanks to our Armed Forces in the fight for peace,” said Olha Mykhailiuk, the exhibition’s organiser.
Among the marathon participants are military orphans and children from the temporarily occupied and frontline territories who are invited to Lviv to undergo art therapy with prominent artists about Peace and Life together with other children of the war in Ukraine.
14:00 – press conference with the organisers and partners;
15:00 – opening of the exhibition.
