On March 20, the Maria Zankovetska Theater will host two concerts dedicated to the 68th anniversary of the birth of the composer, head of the Vatra ensemble, People’s Artist of Ukraine Ihor Bilozir.
Several generations have grown up on the songs of the famous composer, so at the concert, visitors will be able to pay tribute to the Ukrainian composer and enjoy a live performance of their favorite performers.
His works “Mother’s Light”, “Wheat Row”, “Like Yesterday”, “Beloved”, “Get up from your knees, my people” entered the golden treasury of Ukrainian song art.
These and other songs by Ihor Bilozir will be sung: the famous “Vatra 80’s” and the famous “Picardian Third”, Maryan Shunevich, Oleg Kulchytskyi, Ostap Stakhiv – folk artists of Ukraine, each of whom was a member of “Vatra”. The famous Ukrainian poet, co-author of songs Bohdan Stelmakh will also take part in the concert.
