On Sunday, September 28, at 2:00 PM, an exhibition presentation ‘Sensation’ will take place at the Museum of the History of Religion (Potocki Palace). A meeting with the authors – Lviv artists, father and daughter – Ivan Mykytiuk and Natalia Shevchenko.
Ivan Mykytiuk is a sculptor, professor of the department of monumental and decorative sculpture at the Lviv National Academy of Arts, a member of the National Union of Artists, a merited artist of Ukraine. His daughter Natalia Shevchenko is also a teacher – she works in the Lviv lyceum as a teacher-methodologist of art and fine arts. She works in the field of artistic weaving and painting.
The artists are participants in regional, international, and collective exhibitions – their works are in the collections of art museums and in private collections in Ukraine and abroad. During the meeting, Ivan Mykytiuk’s sculptures and Natalia Shevchenko’s pastel paintings will be presented.
During the event, the combined choir of the churches of St. Volodymyr and the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary ‘Te Deum’ under the direction of Julia Tsyupa will perform.
