In Lviv on 24th April at 16:00, a curator-led tour of the exhibition “This Loyalty Cost Them Dearly” will take place at the Memorial Museum of Totalitarian Regimes “Territory of Terror”. The exhibition is dedicated to the fates of UGCC clergy who became victims of repression following the Lviv pseudo-council of 1946.
Curators Yuriy Kodenko and Yulia Artymyshyn will guide participants through the exhibits, which reflect the lives of those who remained loyal to their church despite arrests and exile.
“Despite everything, these people survived. And many recall that it was their faith that helped them endure the toughest moments,” notes exhibition co-curator Yulia Artymyshyn.
The ticket price is 50 UAH for concessionary categories and 100 UAH for other visitors. The exhibition utilises materials from the “Territory of Terror” museum’s collections and the archive of the Institute of Church History at the Ukrainian Catholic University.
