An exhibition dedicated to the historical unity of Lithuania and Ukraine has opened at the Lviv Historical Museum.
On 16 stands, the history of the Palace of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania in Vilnius is presented, which is a symbol of statehood and national memory of the Lithuanian people. This palace is essential for the formation of historical consciousness and civic spirit. Its heritage is significant not only for Lithuania but also for Ukrainians, Belarusians, Poles, and Latvians.
“I thank the Lviv Historical Museum for establishing cooperation with our Lithuanian partners. Thanks to this, our youth and not only they have the opportunity to gain new knowledge about the history of our peoples. I take this opportunity to thank every Lithuanian who, in one way or another, helps our country: volunteering, bringing cars, humanitarian cargo. You help us in the fight against the eternal enemy, who knows nothing to build, but only to destroy,” noted Deputy Head of the Lviv Regional State Administration Ivan Sobko.
