On 29 September, a series of events will take place in Lviv to mark the 160th anniversary of the birth of Mykhailo Hrushevsky, the prominent historian and statesman. The events are being organised with the participation of the State Memorial Museum of Mykhailo Hrushevsky in Lviv.
The day will begin with a Divine Liturgy at 08:00 in the Church of Holy Sophia at 121A Franka Street. At 10:00, a flower-laying ceremony is planned on Shevchenko Avenue.
At 14:00, the Hrushevsky Museum at 154 Franka Street will host a jubilee programme: an exhibition and a presentation of a book dedicated to the figure of Mykhailo Hrushevsky.
At 19:00, there will be an open-air performance of the play “Keys to Heaven” by the Voskresinnia Theatre. Admission to the State Memorial Museum of Mykhailo Hrushevsky in Lviv will be free on 29 September.
