In the village of Kuhaiv, exterior restoration works have been completed on the Church of the Epiphany, which has the status of a monument of architecture of national significance. The façade renewal lasted from 2021 to 2026.
The church is a valuable example of traditional Halychyna wooden sacred architecture. According to the inscription above the entrance, the church was built in 1693, which makes it one of the older buildings of this type in the region.
After the completion of work on the exterior structures, the plan is to move on to restoring the interior and the iconostasis. In addition, improvement of the grounds around the shrine is envisaged, as well as the installation of security and fire alarm systems to ensure better preservation of the site.
