
On Saturday, August 23, at 2:00 PM, master and researcher of Sokal embroidery Vira Chypurko invites everyone to the ‘Sokalshchyna’ Art Museum for the presentation of the book ‘White, Black, Multicolored: Cut and Patterns of Shirts of Nadbuzhanshchyna/Sokalshchyna.’
This book is an author’s ethnographic study that tells about the traditional clothing of the residents of Nadbuzhanshchyna from the late 19th to the mid-20th centuries. During the presentation, you will have the opportunity not only to talk with the author and learn interesting facts about the embroidery research, but also to view a unique museum collection of ancient clothing from Sokalshchyna.
