On 26 July, a large-scale street performance entitled “The Flower-Soul” will take place on Independence Square in Truskavets. The event is dedicated to the 199th anniversary of the city of Truskavets.
The organisers are announcing an open-air theatrical production featuring giant stilt-walkers, vibrant Ukrainian imagery and audience participation in the unfolding of the performance. They promise spectacular stage characters, unique bespoke costumes and the distinctive atmosphere of street theatre.
The performance is scheduled to begin at 17:30 on the city’s central square — Independence Square in Truskavets.
The production “The Flower-Soul” is being organised as part of the City Day celebrations, and will therefore be one of the key cultural events of this anniversary date.
