In Truskavets, at the junction of Ivasyuka, Stebnytska and Stusa streets, an old boiler house is being transformed into a modern cultural and artistic space for young people. The driving force behind the changes is young Truskavets-born architect Oleksandr Tsiuper, who has long dreamt of bringing the neglected building back to life.
The plan is to install a stage for performances inside the premises, and by mid-August 2026 a mural is to appear on the walls. All the work is being carried out as part of a special project implemented at this location.
On 6 August, an exhibition-reflection by artist Volodymyr Mudrak was opened on the boiler house grounds, presented by curator Yuliia Dyma. The display is dedicated to the theme of crossroads, lines of fate, points of intersection and the intuitive directions of human desires.
About thirty young people came to the exhibition opening. According to the organisers, such interest points to a demand for new cultural spaces in the city and shows that the neglected boiler house is gradually turning into a vibrant hub of creativity.
